Tagalog Word of the Day: LANGIB

Langib means scab, a crust discharged from and covering a healing wound (as a noun).  

Word Usage:  

Ayy, kadiirriiii! May langib ka! 
(Eww, gross! You have a scab!) 

Marahang tinalupan ni Tolitz ang kanyang langib sa paa. 
(Tolitz slowly peeled off the scab from his foot.) 

Sinabi ng doktor na gumagaling na ang tuli ni Manoy dahil mayroon na itong langib. 
(The doctor told Manoy that his circumcision wound is healing because of the visible scab.)
