The Warriors of the Lands of Khanduras are well trained in all the weapons of war. Ranging from crusading paladins to unscrupulous mercenaries, Warriors can be found wherever there is conflict amongst their countrymen. Many of these adventuresome men joined with King Leoric's army and went to battle against the Northern Kingdoms of Westmarch. As the fires of war burned themselves out, these Warriors returned home to find their kingdom in shattered disarray.
Dark rumors of the mysterious demise of King Leoric abound and the evil that lurks within his Citadel has drawn many Warriors to Khanduras seeking fortune and glory. Though they were warned by the people of Tristram, a few of these brave souls have ventured into the chaotic labyrinth beneath the old church - never to be heard from again…
Whether they are driven by valor, honor, madness or greed, new warriors arrive in Tristram everyday, ready to challenge the dark unknown that awaits them beneath the earth.
The strongest and the toughest class, the Warrior, excels in hand-to-hand combat. His natural strength, properly cultivated, allows him to utilize heavy armor, cumbrous axes, and massive blades that are beyond the means of most Sorcerers and Rogues.
The Warrior is also a skillful craftsman, possessing an inherent ability to repair weapons and armor in the field (although he's no match for a true blacksmith).
The Warrior comes to his prime midway through the game, when a large axe and an attitude is all it takes to deal effectively with the general population. At the game's beginning, the Warrior is expected to guzzle down a lot of Heal Scrolls and Potions as he grapples at close quarters. Late in the game, it is always a must for a Warrior to have all three magical resistances pumped up, or the denizens of hell will have their way with him from afar.
SPECIAL SKILL: ITEM REPAIR Using this skill, item durability is restored, but it decreases an item's max durability. As the level of a Warrior increases, the less max durability is removed from an item that is repaired.

WHY PLAY THE WARRIOR?
- The Warrior enjoys the fastest attacks with all weapons except the bow.
- The Warrior's repair skill makes him low-maintenance.
- The Warrior has a Critical Strike component, giving him a calculated chance for "double damage" (half of his current level is his chance - hence, a level 10 Warrior has a 5% chance for Critical Strike).
- The Warrior's high Vitality means he takes less damage per hit.
