When grocery shopping becomes torture…

Sandals, cotton socks, cotton jogging pants, cotton shirt… recipe for a painful shopping trip…

I don’t think I’ve ever felt that many bouts with static electricity in a grocery store… I was “shocked” more then ten times in the store while I was doing one of my weekly trips to Albertson’s. Picking out items from those metal shelves has never been more uncomfortable. It was the first time I was scared to touch and pick up that can of corned beef, or that jug of orange juice.

It was the first time I was overcome by a sense of dread when I found out I missed getting a sack of sugar… and the first time I felt overwhelming relief when I finally made a trip to the cashier…

Next time I’m gonna wear jeans and shoes… too much electricity in me today to last me a year…
